We arrived at 5am and our room wasn’t ready, but the kind staff let us leave our bags and use the bathroom. The room was lovely, with a really comfortable bed. Ours had no windows, but that didn’t bother us. The aircon was great, and we got fresh towels every day, along with drinking water and toiletries. The area was peaceful, close to several 7-11s and a nice park, and far enough from the chaos of Khao San. Highly recommend this hotel. The one downside was that the bathroom wasn’t fully enclosed from the room.

We had such a lovely time at The Orchid House 153. The house is stunning, the room was really comfortable, and the location made our trip feel special. We were there with our 3-year-old daughter, and everyone was so sweet and attentive with her. Pin at reception deserves a special mention. Always smiling, incredibly helpful, and so caring with our little girl, Pin made us feel truly welcome. I absolutely recommend staying here. We’ll definitely come back.

The rooms are large, spotlessly clean and have modern amenities. Reception staff were super friendly and helpful. They even came with me to the police station when my husband went missing on our first night because he’d forgotten the hotel’s name. I absolutely recommend staying here.

Don’t stay here. A gold ring disappeared from my bedside table on the second morning, and I don’t think staff can be trusted with valuables. The daytime manager was rude, dismissive and manipulative. When I pressed her about going into my room, her account changed: first she said she had entered, then she said she hadn’t. I appreciated the night manager’s support, but my ring was never returned. The whole experience was extremely upsetting.

The outdoor garden area is a great spot to eat street food, and the hotel itself is a lovely boutique place. The rooms are great and very clean thanks to the housekeeping staff, and the bed was so comfortable. Yupin and Sueng at the front desk were amazing and made me feel very welcome. I highly recommend it.
