The affordable self-catering kitchen was a real plus, and the place was popular with backpackers. I stayed there in 2014 and met a varied bunch of talented people, including photographers and artists. One especially gifted brother, Yuval, treated me like family.

I stayed in 2019, right at the start of my six-year backpacking trip. It was a good deal for a fan room back then. Sadly, it looks like the place has closed, with no listings on the major booking sites. RIP.

I've lived very close by for four years. I thought this place was shut, but I saw lights on a few days ago, so now I'm unsure. It looks derelict and unwelcoming either way. Closed or open, I'd put it at 50/50.

I spent my first week in Thailand here, and it was brilliant. The room was great, the staff were laid-back and incredibly kind, and I met some lovely people. I left behind a towel I'd had for five years, hope it's still drying people :) Drinking with Martin and the crazy Aussie barman was amazing. Thanks for looking after me, and I hope you keep it going.

I felt really uncomfortable after what happened just five minutes after checking in and getting food at the hostel. I ordered at the till and was given the wrong change. When I questioned it, she embarrassed me in front of the other guests and insisted I was mistaken, even when I asked her to check the CCTV. This has happened before, which is why I was being extra cautious. I wanted other people to know.
