The Printing House Poshtel - Hostel

Those privacy curtains around the beds made a big difference to my comfort, and I liked the location and the breakfast too. I did enjoy my stay at Poshtel Bangkok, but the hostel could make some things easier. There was nowhere in the showers to hang a towel, so I had to put a clean one on the toilet or floor. The rooftop terrace is actually a restaurant, and you can't go up unless you buy something. A shared space where guests could relax and meet freely would help the social side. The balconies are divided by walls, so you can only interact with people from your own room, and the hostel didn't feel very social. The internet was poor, so it's not a good choice if you need to work online. Rooms could use benches or small tables, and many old doors need maintenance because some don't close properly or make loud noises. A few improvements would make it more comfortable and social.

I chose Printing House Phostels twice on this trip and stayed more than 10 days altogether. It's clean, organized, and really quiet, and the staff are polite and helpful. Special thanks to Raymond, who was kind, attentive, and professional. Highly recommend it!

The rooms were comfortable, with blackout curtains and big lockers, and I really appreciated being allowed to check in early. The location is in a quieter part of Bangkok, but getting around with Grab was easy. Some people mention the elevator being annoying, though I didn't find it a problem at night. It's not the most social hostel, but that may depend on who you're sharing with. The bathrooms don't have shower curtains, so the floor gets wet. A squeegee or mop would help guests clean up. A few shelves or extra hooks in the rooms would also make it easier to keep your things organized. I was very happy with my stay.

I love how thoughtfully the place is laid out and designed for visitors. I almost want to hug the owner. The staff have been amazing too, this is the best hostel I've stayed in so far. One little idea: more hooks for clothes in the shower would be nice.
