The hostel has a lovely garden seating area and makes it easy to meet other people. I had a great stay, partly thanks to the people I met there. It was clean, and you can borrow an umbrella for free if you need shade or rain cover. Showers and toilets are separate for women and men. There’s also a restaurant right next door called “ the family “. Free coffee in the morning, though it wasn’t the best.

There isn’t really an indoor place to hang out apart from the bedroom, and the outdoor seating is limited to two hammocks and a couple of uncomfortable chairs. The rooms themselves were clean and comfortable, and there’s a safe spot for a bicycle.

I liked how peaceful it was, even though the main Khao San area is nearby. It was a good place to unwind after a long stretch of travel when I wasn’t looking to socialize. The beds are large, with curtains, and the air conditioning is great. Very clean, with a nice garden and hammocks. For the best price, just walk up to the door.

We chose a private room because we had several early starts and didn’t want to disturb anyone, but getting to it meant walking through a dorm, so that part rather undermined the point. The location was excellent, within walking distance of many major Bangkok sights and lots of good food. It’s also very quiet, tucked down an alley too narrow for cars. The staff were friendly and the place was generally quite clean.
