Mr.Don was really helpful and gave me ideas for places to enjoy in Bangkok once I got out into the city. The building looks old from the outside, but the room felt surprisingly cozy and worth what I paid. Local markets are about a 400-metre walk on the way out to the main road. If you want to experience everyday Thai life, spend a couple of nights here.

From the place, it’s a 6-8 minute walk to the Airport Rail Link or Prayathai BTS, which made getting around downtown Bangkok convenient for me. It’s on the fifth floor of an old building in the middle of downtown, but the facilities inside weren’t bad. I liked having some privacy, and walking there in the morning let me see local Bangkok life and try Thai street food on the way. I liked it and will come back.

Lovely hosts, and everything felt up to date and comfortable. It’s very close to both the local market and bts Phaya Thai. Highly recommended!
