Vib Best Western Sanam Pao

I had positive stays here on my first two visits, and I'd still stay again. On my most recent visit, though, the bathroom water wouldn't get hot and the shower hadn't been cleaned properly. I told the hotel, and someone came quickly to help. They cleaned the shower as best they could, but the water still wasn't hot. The bathroom and shower weren't satisfactory, but the staff were phenomenal, kind, and warm. I especially remember aa and nan, who were both incredibly nice to me. I really appreciated their attention to detail and hospitality. I'd give the stay 4.5/5.

The breakfast selection isn't huge, but it was enough for me. The coffee was really good and piping hot. 🙂 We got a friendly welcome even though we arrived late in the evening. At night the room was very quiet for Bangkok, and the bathroom water pressure was very good. Everything is compact and well arranged, with nice dark brown and red colors. I can't agree with some of the recent reviews.

For an affordable hotel, the price is really reasonable and the staff are very nice and helpful. If you need to leave your luggage after checking out, they'll store it for you. You can also request an iron, which is something Malaysians often care about when travelling abroad. 🤭 The room is a little small, but it has everything, including bathrobes and a coffee machine, which are rare in hotels at this price. The toilet is big, too, and I love it. The location is strategic, right beside BTS Sanam Pao, with connections to lots of tourist attractions. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bangkok.

The room is small, but that worked for us since we only needed a place to sleep. We found it comfortable and well equipped, with complimentary snacks and soft drinks, a coffee maker, and a bathroom with both a shower and bidet. There's no kettle, but you can request an iron. A 7-Eleven is only a two-minute walk away. I stayed in Bangkok in early November for three nights with one other person, and the price was affordable. I'm really glad I picked this hotel. It's literally right next to Sanam Pao BTS Station, with stairs or a lift leading down to it. It was a great stay, and I highly recommend it.
