The staff were very welcoming, and the location works well for getting to the center. But the room was a letdown for the price, unless you’re used to living Mumbai style. It cost as much as a very decent stay elsewhere, and Trip.com wouldn’t allow a refund, so that was that. The air was stale and moldy, so I had to air the room every day. It was hard to breathe. The reception guy was coughing too. There was just a tiny window, looking across at neighbors in another building. The walls had holes, and wiring was exposed all over the ceiling. There was one plug, occupied by the mini-fridge, so I had to unplug it to charge my phone. The bathroom was another issue. The cleaning ladies came into the room twice while I was asleep, and again while I was out. Some small plastic things, candy, and bags went missing, probably because they thought they were trash, but they didn’t replace the towels or toilet paper. Don’t leave valuables lying around. The guy from Pakistan and the one from Myanmar were super nice. I’m sorry I didn’t say anything, but I was a bit worried about the other guy, who seemed like the big boss and had a very stiff smile. I don’t know if they cleaned the bathroom mold or dealt with the huge roaches. The towels had little yellow spots, and the toilet was rusty and yellowish. I hope they get a chance to fix these things. Good luck, and thanks for the stay.
