Viva Garden Serviced Residence

The neighborhood has a nice local feel, with street snacks to try and Seven-Eleven stores right across the road. The hotel itself is roomy, pleasant, and very clean, and the staff are friendly and keep service standards up. It’s about a five-minute walk to the BTS, though getting to the main city area, the Grand Palace, or other major sights takes longer. I had a great stay.

The staff made my family feel at home during our week here, and breakfast was delicious with really attentive service. We tried the whole room-service menu and had no complaints, and the chef was excellent. The beds were the most comfortable we’d had in three months of travel; the shower had great pressure, and the TVs were at least 50 inches with several English-language channels. Our room felt open thanks to wall-to-wall windows and a wraparound patio, with a great view. The clean pool, grassy area, and well-equipped fitness center were lovely too. You’re steps from the BTS and within walking distance of malls and other shops.

A cute, clean place with spacious rooms and warm, generous service. There’s a restaurant, gym, and pool with a garden area, and it’s close to the skytrain and plenty of places to eat. If you want somewhere central in Bangkok that’s clean and reasonably priced, this is worth a try.

The buffet breakfast had a really wide selection, and the room was very clean with a high standard of amenities. Restaurant orders come with extra charges, though: 10% service, then another 7% VAT on the new total. Staff were consistently warm and pleasant, but communication could be difficult because their English was limited. For a four-star hotel in the capital, I’d expected more effort on that front. Still, I’d recommend staying here.
