Baan Kratom Tong by the sea

What made the breakfast special was being asked the evening before what we wanted. There was no fixed menu, and the person checking us in could arrange it to order. That meant my vegetarian partner could customize what went into the food, which made things much easier. A daily Thai breakfast was included in the price. The property is made up of a handful of charming beach cottages between two much larger resorts, giving it a wonderfully private beach. The soft white sand has seashells and tide pools, and we could walk along that stretch for 30 minutes without seeing another person. The rooms are large and airy, with high ceilings and very cold air conditioning. For those comforts, the price was like a roadside motel in the United States. We loved the place and would absolutely return, hopefully soon.

Free breakfast is included in the price. There isn't anything within walking distance, but a taxi to restaurants and bars costs about 150 bath. The Grab taxi app works there, and you can order food through Grab Food and the 7eleven app. It's right on the beach and very calm and relaxing. Absolutely recommended. Try it for 2 days.

We’d happily return, if only Thailand weren’t so big and there weren’t so many other places to explore. Fantastic stay, highly recommend it!

The beach is just a minute’s walk away, and the rooms are fully equipped studios. It’s a hidden gem in a beautiful, peaceful area, with friendly staff and great service.
