I came back after staying here two years ago because I’d enjoyed it then. It’s a comfortable hostel-style hotel where everyone has their own bed, and the facilities are complete and well kept. The place was very clean, 10/10 for cleanliness, and the cold pool was wonderfully refreshing. This time, though, the air conditioning didn’t cool as well as before. We switched rooms and had the same problem, possibly because of the recent heat. Even so, among places in Old City Chiang Mai, it’s one of the best values, and I had a great stay. Highly recommended. Rating: 9.9/10.

My kid absolutely loved the bunk bed. The place was clean, the bed really comfortable, and the location and service were both good. 10/10.

We had a great four-night stay in the spacious bunk room on the fourth floor. It was very quiet, and the small pool was nice for cooling off in the afternoon. Breakfast included coffee and bread, and we’d definitely stay again. We had a car, so parking was the only thing to think about. The hotel is down a fairly narrow alley where two cars can’t pass, and there are just two small spaces out front. If you’re calling a car, do the driver a favor and walk out to the main road.

I was unsure at first, but ended up loving my stay and would happily return to Chiang Mai. The receptionist was always smiling, friendly, and helpful. WiFi was decent, though the speed could be more consistent. The location inside the walled city is handy, near the southern gate market. Chedi Luang temple and the weekend walking street are walkable, Nimman is a 10-minute taxi ride, and there are plenty of nearby spas for massages. The property itself has a lovely open garden at the entrance, a ground-floor pool, and a play and hangout area on the mezzanine. Upstairs, the no-shoes rule keeps the wooden floors spotless, and temporary slippers are provided. Our spotless four-bunk room was comfortable and thoughtfully set up, with individual lockers, tables, curtains, and lamps. The ensuite bathroom was hygienic and had two toilets, one shower, and complimentary toiletries. There’s also a well-equipped kitchen on the first floor with a fridge, kettle, tea and coffee supplies, plus complimentary bread, milk, crackers, fruit, and bottled water each day. The design is beautiful and distinctive. I’d highly recommend the place to others.
