It's a pretty isolated location. There's one coffee shop and a gym within walking distance, and the nearest 7-Eleven and main road are about five minutes away. The nearby options are basic. Old Town has much better choices for a convenient stay, cleaner rooms, and better service, so I wouldn't recommend this place. The room was spacious enough for a family or a longer visit, but the building felt neglected. The sheets were clean, yet there was hair on the floor, and the windows and walls were stained. It seemed like the property needed more housekeeping and maintenance. The front desk felt cold, and reception was dirty and cluttered. At checkout I had to wait for an inspection before getting my passport deposit back. That seemed unnecessary and a little insulting, as if guests couldn't be trusted. Management should rethink that policy.

I left after just one night of a three-night booking, and they wouldn't refund the rest. I'd suggest booking one night first and extending only if you like it. This is my May 2025 review. The staff were friendly, and the location was okay, down a side alley with a Lotus nearby. But the room was very, very dusty, and the air con was loud, like a jet engine even on its lowest setting. There wasn't any cutlery, just one pan, two plates, and a bowl.

The view and room layout were the only good parts. The place is very old and damp, and the walls are so thin I could hear sounds from two rooms away. Honestly, I wonder if they pay people for positive reviews. This is the worst hotel I've stayed in.

It isn't a new, shiny hotel, but it's old, clean, and managed well. The room quality matches the price, which is good. The locations are great, and the front-of-house staff we met were polite and very nice. Housekeeping was great too. The security guard and the cleaning lady on the 4th floor made my stay especially pleasant.
