Chiangmai SP Hotel

The room wasn’t that good, and the loo was old. Breakfast was very poor. The location is a little far from the city center, with no public transportation nearby, only taxi service bowers, and it’s 20mints from Maya Mall district. If you’re easily disturbed, don’t check in here. There’s noise and loud music every day from midnight until early morning. I won’t book this hotel again.

For around 800฿, it’s a good bargain. The common areas and outside aren’t that impressive, but the room is really large, in very good condition, and super clean. Good mattress and bathroom, and the air-con works well and quietly. There’s parking, and the surroundings are quiet.

Staff barely speak English and don’t explain basic things. For instance, the Wi-Fi code is on the door key, so how am I supposed to know that? The building is dirty, including the elevator and common areas. The rooms are okay, but there’s no hand soap and no ashtray outside. We paid for breakfast, but the coffee was cold, the fruit had run out, the eggs were cold, and the buffet itself was really poor.

The karaoke event was a lot of fun.
