De Rose Hotel Chiang Mai

The room had a fridge, a strong shower with hot water, and a TV with Netflix, YouTube, and Prime Video, which I hadn’t found at my other hotels. Noy even offered fresh bananas she grows herself, and they were so good. When I asked if she could heat some leftover food, she kindly did. I mentioned wanting to heat food on my own, and she offered to put a microwave in the common area. That made me really happy. I could also leave my bags at the hotel on departure day until my 5 pm train, which gave me peace of mind. Before I arrived, the owner contacted me through the booking.com app about three days ahead, thanked me for reserving, and offered a ride from my arrival point. I was coming from another hotel in Chiangmai, so I didn’t need the ride. She also offered discounted tours and activities, including full and half day cooking classes, Doi Suthep tours, spa packages, and Grand Canyon water park packages. When I arrived, Noy greeted me and suggested places nearby, including Chada Cafe, about a four minute walk away, which I highly recommend, along with night markets, parks and spas. I also got complimentary mango sticky rice. This was one of my best, most personal stays in Thailand. Noy was the kindest, sweetest person and went above and beyond at every step. As a solo female traveler, I’m so grateful, and I’ll stay here again next time I’m in Chiang Mai. Thank you, De Rose and Noy, for such a lovely experience.

I found it easy to get around and enjoy the area from De Rose Hotel’s convenient location. My room was comfortable, clean, and well maintained, with what I needed for a relaxing visit. The staff were welcoming and ready to help. I had a pleasant stay and would recommend De Rose Hotel.

About ten minutes from the Old Town, this spot felt more relaxing. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and had Netflix. Laundry was available, and breakfast was excellent. Good value and a welcoming place to stay in Chiang Mai.

The breakfast was incredible, and de Rose was a welcome sight after I arrived exhausted with a muddy bike. They greeted me like an old friend. It’s around ten minutes from the airport. I walked into the city a couple of times, which took an hour but wasn’t difficult. Taking a taxi was easier and only took 15 minutes.
