Guesthouse Liam's Suan Dok Mai

The food was freshly made and delicious, and the staff were always helpful with a smile, including when arranging activities in the area. We were three people staying at Liam’s Guesthouse in Chiang Mai and had a wonderful time. The hosts and staff gave us a warm welcome and made us feel at home as soon as we arrived. We’d happily come back and highly recommend it.

Marcel made arranging trips and transfers easy, shared useful local tips, and was always there when we needed help. The rest of the staff were just as kind and attentive, and you could feel how much they cared about guests. Liam’s Suan Dok Mai is a peaceful garden retreat just outside Chiang Mai’s busy center. The rooms were spotless, the saltwater pool was relaxing, and the whole property was beautifully maintained. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, and we felt at home from the moment we arrived. A great choice for comfort, peace, and warm service.

We stayed at Liam’s Guest House in Chiang Mai with two friends and didn’t have a single bad experience. Marcel and Koen welcomed us warmly and helped us sort out all our trips and transport around the area. The rest of the staff were polite and helpful, and their English was excellent, which made everything much easier. Our rooms were spotlessly clean every day. It’s a warm, well-run place that really focuses on its guests. Highly recommended.

The quiet and breakfast were our favourite parts. Once we sat down, they brought pancakes, fresh fruit, and freshly toasted bread, with free refills that kept us there longer than planned. The pool was refreshing, and the loungers around it were comfortable. From the street, you step into a cozy green oasis with the pool at its center. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Our room was spacious and clean, with a lovely view of the green backyard from the balcony. There are small supermarkets and plenty of places to eat nearby. It’s a bit out of town, as we knew beforehand, and we actually enjoyed hearing the birds. Thanks, Marcel and team, for a very pleasant stay. We’d recommend it and hope to return one day.
