The Raintree Hotel Chiangmai

We found the hotel far too expensive for the quality. It wasn’t as clean as we expected, with black hair still in the bathroom and a bad smell. The food was low standard, and the staff seemed more interested in their phones than their jobs. After we’d already stayed four nights, we asked to cancel something, but the manager wasn’t helpful and seemed to avoid us. We waited and asked the staff to speak to the manager, who was hiding in the office and didn’t come out. When we asked again after waiting, the manager had apparently gone somewhere else. They said they couldn’t change the booking, even though we mentioned the issue straight away and believe they only needed to approve it in the system. They offered no fair solution. Avoid supporting this hotel if you don’t want to be treated badly. The manager hid instead of having a conversation with us. It was an unfriendly, disappointing stay. We’ll be posting more reviews and a video on social media. Hotel, if you want to avoid more bad reviews, offer a polite and fair solution. Nobody wants to be treated this way, and it will hurt your business :) Thank you for your attention. Hope to hear from you soon.
