The location was the only thing I liked. The room was unbearably hot, with no air conditioning and just a noisy, useless fan. There was no fridge, the beds and pillows were rock hard, and the shower only worked for about 20 seconds early in the morning. Pigeons and roosters woke me around 5 a.m. I moved out and found a nice air-conditioned room for just $10 more per night. Never again.

The location was very quiet, but I wouldn't recommend this place. The Wi-Fi was garbage, and when I arrived there was no staff around. Someone eventually showed me to my room without explaining anything, offering advice, or showing me where things were. They didn't offer to carry my bag, though I didn't need help with it. I booked another hotel and never went back.

The reception looks just like someone's house. Ask which floor your room is on, because carrying everything up to the fourth floor with no lift felt like too much for the price.

This is my favorite budget guesthouse. It's in an excellent spot, stays quiet, and the TV really does have lots of English-language channels.
