Wonderwall Hotel

Everything was very clean, and the staff were great. The rooms and beds were comfortable too. I've stayed here twice and both visits were great.

We didn't need to spend much time in the hotel since there's so much to do in Chiang Mai, so the very basic room was fine. The breakfast choices were limited, but from 8am we could get a boiled egg, coffee, and toast. The staff and location were both great. It wasn't luxurious, but it had what we needed.

Room 101 looked just like the photos, though it's small and best for one or two people. There were only three clothes hangers, and I couldn't reach the in-room safe because it was placed high on a shelf. Wi-Fi was patchy, you could hear the neighbors a bit, and the aircon was annoyingly loud. The street itself was quiet. The shower had hot water, but it got so hot when I turned it back on after applying body wash that it slightly burned me. The shampoo and body wash smelled really good. Breakfast runs from 8 to 11am and is basic: tea, espresso, orange juice, milk, boiled eggs, toast, and jam. I stayed one night. The staff were friendly, and the location was great, very close to restaurants, Thae Pha Gate, spas, laundry, Sunday Night Market, and more. I'd recommend it for a short stay.

The rooms were modern and really clean, with comfortable beds, very cold AC, and showers that got hot. They also had great toiletries, including conditioner, which is so rare in accommodation. The spot is tucked away and felt private and quiet. The staff were friendly and lovely to talk with every day, and the teas and coffees each morning were better than any I'd had before. I loved staying here and was sad to leave.
