The front desk girl was VERY friendly and quite helpful. The bathrooms were clean, apart from a few mosquito carcasses on the walls, and breakfast was simple: toast, jam, bread, cereal, coffee, and little bananas. It's decent for the price and relatively clean. We had a room with a city view, though the blanket and pillow quality could be better. There's a reason they put mosquito nets over the beds: the lobby doors are left open during the day.

For a one-night stay, the place works, especially since it's four minutes from the bus stop. It's clean and cheap, and you get what you pay for. The street right beside the hostel makes it pretty loud at night. The blankets had no sheets, and the beds were very close together with only thin plywood between them. Breakfast was extremely basic, too. There was no milk for the cereal, and the jam had run out.

I stayed in a top-level mix dorm. It's a simple, no-frills hostel with friendly staff and a great location near the bus station and night market.

The location made getting around easy, with the bus station and night market nearby and Chiang Rai's Clock Tower about a five-minute walk away. Everything was spotless and looked new, including the shared bathroom, which was cleaned several times a day. The staff didn't speak English, but a translator was enough to sort things out. Great price, and if I come back to Chiang Rai, I'll stay here again.

Very convenient spot near the market. The service was good, the food was ok, and everything was clean. It cost 250 per person.
