Rabeang Pasak Treehouse Resort

The Thai dinner was delicious, and the portions were very generous. Our stay in the clean, well-kept tree houses was a unique experience in a beautiful setting. The owner is extremely friendly and, even when busy, makes time to chat and offer lots of ideas and suggestions for things to see. The beds may not suit very large people, but their sizes are clearly stated on the website.

The free coffee corner was a lovely surprise, and as an Italian coffee lover I was amazed. We stayed at Pasak Treehouse in Rabeang as a family with a child, and the treetop houses were so cool. It was incredibly calm, surrounded by the nature we were looking for. The owner was kind, friendly, and welcoming from the first moment, and the atmosphere and people were lovely. A great place for anyone wanting to slow down and enjoy nature.

Bamboo house was cosy, charming, and clean, and we slept so well. It gets quite cold at night by the river in December, maybe 18-20 degrees, like cold air conditioning, so pack woollen socks and thermal wear. The bedding and mattresses were comfortable, and the meals delicious. We loved exploring the nearby dam and its beautiful walking paths in the morning. The stay felt like a childhood dream, comforting and fairy-tale-like, as if we were hobbits or elves. Grateful to Ping and her mum for sharing their meaningful stories. This is a private resort in the forest, and we'd love to return for longer. It's a lovely place to slow down, have quiet time, nurture relationships, and connect with nature.

Watching sunset from the lookout point is a must, and the fresh food was delicious. Rabeang Pasak is a beautiful jungle resort about a 1-hour drive from Chiang Mai. You can stop at a local market and visit Sticky waterfall on the way. Pinn was so kind and welcoming. She brought out firecrackers for the kids, floated a lantern with us, and organized a campfire with marshmallows. It's very kid friendly, with a wooden playground, a clean freshwater creek, and private swimming holes at some cabins. The rooms were spotless, and sleeping in a treehouse was exciting. If you sleep with the window open, bring earplugs, since the frogs and stream can get a little noisy at night. Our only disappointment was that the stay ended far too soon. We can't wait to visit again.
