Asian Hotel

The location is very good, and check-in was smooth and pleasant. The hotel feels quite dated, like it has had its heyday, though it was clean. Our room was clean and comfortable enough, but could use refurbishment. There was mold on the wall above the shower. The front desk staff didn’t make us feel especially welcome.

It feels like this old hotel has been left as it was, with no effort to upgrade, perhaps because it’s in a prime location in Songkhla. The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows flat. There was a classic box-size TV, power sockets placed ridiculously far away, and a fridge that smelled of rotting fish. The carpets were so dirty I wouldn’t dare walk on them barefoot.

We stayed for 4 days and 3 nights. Lee Garden Night Market and Kim Yeong Morning Market are both within walking distance, so the location was really convenient. The housekeeping staff were friendly and cleaned the room when we asked. The room itself is very old, though, and I hope management will keep it in better condition 😊

The receptionist came across as unfriendly and arrogant, and the room’s cleanliness, especially in the toilet, was far below what I expected. The bed was extremely hard and dirty, and left my skin irritated and itchy. It was an uncomfortable stay, and I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.
