The lantern Hatyai

I've stayed here three times and will definitely return. I tried both the deluxe and suite rooms, and liked both; extra beds are available if needed. The hotel's concept and design are really nice, and the cafe has good drinks at affordable prices. Even in the aftermath of the flood, the hotel has been doing quite well and renovations haven't been slow. The staff have been friendly and helpful, doing a great job since the flood. The next door restaurant's (?) cat often hangs around the 1st and 2nd floors. Apparently her name is Somsa. She's friendly and will let you pick her up too lol.

It's a cool hotel for a cheap price, and I get why my friend keeps coming back after recommending it to me. The location is great, within walking distance of Lee Garden, 7E, Watsons, and a massage place. The facilities are top notch, with no complaints from me. The only downside is that it's not very soundproof. You can hear people coming and going from their rooms, as well as cars and motorcycles outside.

We thought the experience here was probably better than at a nearby bigger-brand hotel, and it was cheaper. It's a lovely boutique hotel, and we'd stay again. We paid around 1600thb, which felt reasonable. The room was clean, decorated in a black Chinese classic theme, and had all the amenities we expected. Air conditioning and water pressure were good. It's downtown with plenty of restaurants nearby. There were about 7 parking spots; we got one, so we were happy parking was available. The staff were all friendly and great.

The bedding is super comfortable, and the furnishing has loads of detail. The hotel is beautiful for its category and strategically located. There's a carpark, but it's limited; otherwise, parking along the road is no problem. The dustbin is automatic, they provide a long plug and an air purifier, and the aircond is unlike anything I've seen before. After all the many places I've stayed in, this is the one I'm choosing for my next Hatyai visit. 🤩
