Centara Grand Beach Resort and Villas Hua Hin Hotel

The gardens are impressive, with trees shaped like animals, and the pools are well kept and thoughtfully designed. There’s also a great breakfast selection, and the restaurant beside Hua Hin beach has lovely views and good food. Construction is going on, but the staff are doing their best to give guests a five-star experience.

We came for a Valentine’s dinner and felt welcome from the moment we arrived. There was free parking at the gate, the staff were friendly and helpful at the table, and the table decorations were beautiful. The five-course meal was a mixed bag: the second and main courses were great, while the first course and dessert weren’t as good. All in all, we had a very good evening. We didn’t stay overnight, so can’t comment on the rooms or other hotel amenities.

The gardens and historic character made our anniversary stay special, and we enjoyed drinks and meals by the beach with live musicians in the evenings. Staff were friendly and professional. Our room’s AC wasn’t working well, but after we mentioned it, someone came quickly and improved it. Breakfast had a few problems: some grapes were old, the walnuts were rancid, and the melon clearly hadn’t been checked for ripeness. The fresh produce area needs more supervision. We’d also requested vegan and vegetarian options, but there was no special attention to that. Even so, we had a wonderful time and would recommend it to couples or families.

We visited during renovations and initially worried there might be noise or disruptions, but the stay turned out to be relaxing and very pleasant. The room was comfortable and well maintained, and the whole team was welcoming and polite. A special thanks to Tar at the reception, Tuk at The Club, and Nu, who helped arrange a dinner table during the Songkran celebration. Their thoughtful service made the stay memorable, and we’d love to return.
