The room was spacious and the location convenient, but at 171 euro a night it came with plenty of problems. The shower had almost no water pressure, and there were other functional issues that seemed tied to the building’s age and humidity. The other staff were lovely, polite and smiling, but the manager was the one person we met in Thailand who made us feel unwelcome. I think she should be replaced, and the hotel needs repairs or renovation. The location itself is good, and the no-refund policy is a clue about what to expect. After a 22-hour journey, Nok, the manager, greeted us with a rude demand to pay more than the amount already paid in full in advance. We had the written email agreement printed out, but she wrote on it that we owed extra if our third person, my son, wanted to sleep in a bed, even though the booking was for three people. Once she realized she wasn’t getting more money, she seemed sad or upset the whole time. Later, I was also told to cover the hotel’s bank fees for a transfer, even though I had already paid my own bank charges. The 4% credit card surcharge was in their policy, but nothing mentioned transfer fees. It was a small amount, and I paid it, though she didn’t accept the full amount, apparently out of remorse.

The location feels five-star, even though the place itself is more like a two- or three-star stay. There’s a nice little bar by the pool with staff on hand. The rooms haven’t had a recent renovation, but they’re still okay.

A beautiful, very clean place, with the beachfront just beyond the pool. It’s a great spot for a relaxing stay. The staff are friendly and understanding, and do their best to meet your needs. I’d definitely come back.

The staff were good, the location is great, and the pool is cleaned regularly, though it’s shallow. You’re only a few steps from the beach, and plenty of eateries are nearby, but most don’t open until around 9 or 10 in the morning. There’s no breakfast. The room has the basics, including a water heater, TV, toaster, fridge, and cooking utensils, but give everything a clean before using it. The room could use an upgrade, the beds and pillows aren’t very comfortable, and toilet water pressure is weak. Still, it was okay overall, and I’d consider booking again if I needed to.
