My room, number 6, was clean and comfortable, and it wasn't hot, so I didn't always need the air conditioning. If you do use it, it costs 10 baht for half an hour. The shower had just-right hot water, though in summer it's not really needed. There was a fridge and kettle, and everything matched the description. Rent a motorcycle to explore this great island. Everything was perfect for me. Cheap, clean, nice, and I absolutely recommend it.
The friendly reception staff, fridge, and kettle were good. But what first looked like a cheap apartment turned out to be expensive after all. Air conditioning costs 10 Baht for 28 minutes, so you'd have to feed the machine at least 200 Baht for one night. You can't leave the windows open because of the street noise, which works out well for the owner. The bathroom smells of sewage, and the whole floor is underwater after a shower.
A really good place for the price. I'd recommend it for either a short or long stay. You can get a private room or stay in the dormitory, which is very nice for a hostel.
The setting is great, but the Europeans put in charge made me hate the place. Where are the local people who own the hostel? They tried to lie and get me kicked out. Good thing we have technology now and it's not ancient times.
The WiFi was terrible, I could hardly get a signal. My balcony room was really noisy because it faced the main road.
