We’d booked a room with direct access to the pool, but were given something completely different. They tried to present it as an “upgrade,” which was especially disappointing on our honeymoon. We ended up canceling and booking another hotel.

The location is a little out of the way and up a hill, so I’d say a motorbike or car is essential for getting to shops, beaches, and attractions. There is parking on site. It’s a small, pleasant hotel with a friendly owner. Our large pool access room was great, though the bed was quite firm and the bathroom at the back was small. Plenty of hot water, and they supplied a kettle, cups, and coffee. Breakfast was included and more than acceptable, but don’t expect the Thai dishes to be hot. There’s a poolside lunch menu too.

We felt really welcome, thanks to the wonderful hosts, who were always ready to help. The gorgeous pool and super fast Wi-Fi in the room made the stay even more comfortable. It’s apartment-style accommodation in Phuket, well suited to a longer visit, with everything close by and just a short walk down to the beach. Thanks for making our stay so comfortable!

The owner and staff are friendly, capable, and amazing. Getting things like transport hire and laundry sorted is easy, and there are lots of good food places, shops, and bars nearby. Lae Lay Suites has very affordable options for long-term and short to medium-term lets. I thoroughly recommend staying here. The whole experience was amazing.

This family-run hotel takes real pride in keeping the suites clean and looking after the place. We had thorough cleanings and a good breakfast each morning. The owners also helped arrange transport to the Phuket airport, and they let us check in late. Thanks for a great stay.
