Melina's Beach Front Bungalow

We rented the whole place for a week with a group of ten, and it was one of the most relaxing holidays most of us have had. Aum and the rest of the team made everything comfortable, and we loved the food so much that we tried the entire menu several times. They also put together a lovely seafood feast for one night. We swam in the pool and ocean, went sea kayaking, had massages, and watched the sunset with cocktails. A longboat picked us up from the beach for a day out, with food and drinks arranged. You can't really walk anywhere from Melina's, but staff sorted transport whenever we wanted to go into town or do something else. It isn't a five-star resort, but the location, friendly service, and food made it a sensational stay. I'd happily recommend it.

Our family of six had lots of room in the villa, and it felt wonderfully removed from the crowds. Oi, Kim and So were fantastic, helping with rides and making delicious meals. We especially liked the fried chicken and fruit shakes. The beach isn't ideal for swimming, but the kids had fun exploring the crabs and shells. If you're after a real escape, with thoughtful care and beautiful sunsets, this place is a great fit.

We spent our honeymoon here in February and were really happy with everything, from the location and food to the staff. We booked through Airbnb, and our house was in touch the whole time to help us out. It's quiet and very secluded, just right if that's what you're looking for. The staff are lovely, kind, and helpful. I'd definitely recommend Melina’s.

We were sorry to leave, and are already hoping to come back as soon as we can. Next time we'd like to gather friends and book the entire resort. With a maximum of 15 guests, it feels private and exclusive. There's plenty to explore nearby too, including the "Hongs" at Phang Nga and other natural areas. The resort sits in the middle of nature, with a quiet beach directly accessible from the grounds and lovely views over Phang Nga bay. Our hosts arranged a kayaking trip through the mangroves nearby, which are said to be among Thailand's best. The bungalow and grounds were spotless and comfortable, and there is a 15 metre pool, bar, and restaurant on site. Oi was there during our stay and arranged for staff to buy fresh seafood at the local market and cook it for a small fee. I understand this can be organized even when she isn't there. We found the restaurant food very tasty and ate there for almost every meal. Thanks so much for the hospitality. We first heard about Melina's from friends, and we're glad we took their recommendation.
