The manager seemed to have no goodwill. When I asked about how quiet it was, she just said there was one at White sand Beach and asked why I didn’t stay there next time. I also asked for help confirming my bus ticket, but she said she didn’t work with that company. It was all “unfortunately” from her. It may be very quiet here, but that doesn’t mean much when this is how you’re treated. Unfortunately, I won’t come back.

The location and lagoon are perfect, and the surrounding area is beautiful and calm. But we booked a sea view room on booking and there was no sea view, not even a partial one. The administrator said breakfast would be 350 baht per person, but it was 500 baht, quite a difference. The room was very sunny and bright, which could be a problem if you’re a light sleeper. We told the administrator about the problems and got no answer. He didn’t seem very interested in them.

We’re sorry we were treated this way. I booked Villa 21c through Agoda more than seven months ago, with a confirmed reservation for seven people for the entire house. Yesterday the host, Vladislav, messaged that instead of all four rooms, he could offer only two, or I should cancel the booking myself. It’s unfair for the host to change the reservation terms. Based on this, I’d advise against booking the villa through online portals, since the owner can change or cancel at any time.

We booked ten days but left after seven because we’d had enough of the construction noise next door. There was constant steel cutting and welding, with flashes coming into our rental. We couldn’t use the outdoor space during the day, and the drilling, tile cutting, and other noise disturbed our young child’s daytime sleep. I raised it with management a couple of times, but nothing changed. They call it beach side, but our view was of houses on the beach. The rentals are more like apartments than houses. In one building they’re changing the accommodation into three separate bookings, so don’t assume you’ll have the whole house to yourself. For the cost, I expected decent furniture and utilities, but the furnishings looked second hand and didn’t match. The old kitchen was tatty and falling apart, and the fridge was plugged into a wall socket about two feet away, with the cable stretched over the worktop. I guess it’s an expensive property to buy, but the owners don’t seem interested in keeping it nice or replacing things, just maximizing profit and the number of people they can fit in one house. The large shared pool area and bar/restaurant were nice, although the pool water was very cold.
