Cat Bungalow

The hostess is warm and welcoming, and the place has a lovely vibe. I’ve eaten here a couple of times now, and the food is exquisite and nicely presented. It’s a little away from the main circuit, but absolutely worth the trip. I think I’ll be back a few more times before my trip is over.

I came here sick and exhausted, and left feeling healthy and renewed. They made meals that were kind to my upset stomach, which I was so happy about 🥰. The room was clean and comfortable, and the hammock was a great extra. It’s a peaceful place, with an incredible host and staff. If you love cats, even better 😍. Scooter rental is easy to arrange, and makes the location work really well. It’s in the middle of the island’s main spots, which you can get to quickly and easily by scooter.

The town is charming, with shops, friendly people, good massage places, and plenty of tasty food. Koh Lanta ended up being the best part of my trip, with so much to do. At the stay itself, the rooms are clean and the area is quiet, with the beach about a 15-minute walk away. There are cute cats everywhere, plus a restaurant serving delicious food and a travel agency offering all sorts of useful services. Highly recommend!

The cottages are clean and renovated, though the interiors are plain and the building materials seem cheap. Thin, leaky doors let in the loud cricket chirping, so it woke me up in the morning. They sit on a fairly steep hill a little off the road, which means a climb with your luggage. The service is very friendly, and you can rent a scooter or book a boat trip. Breakfast is not very sophisticated. I only saw a cat once.
