A good budget option on the main street, close to lots of restaurants. The women running the hostel can seem a little distant, but they'll help you. The dorms are basic and have AC all day. The beds were okay for me, though my friend didn't like hers; you can feel the inside of the mattress, so I understand why. The shared kitchen is great for making your own food, like breakfast to save money. Well priced, and scooter rental is available.

It's very cheap and just about a five-minute walk from the beach. The beds were clean and had great privacy curtains, but the bathrooms were pretty grungy, the floors could be cleaner, and I could feel every mattress spring. For the price it's not a bad place to stay, though a bit more cleaning would help a lot.

It was quiet season, so we were the only guests at the hostel. The owner was nice and helpful, arranging a bike and motorbike rental and our fairly last-minute transport booking to Phuket. The place was quite clean and the beds were good. The kitchen was fairly clean too, though I'd double-check a few things. The Wi-Fi wasn't working fully because of the storm, as she explained. Free drinking water was a nice touch. A nice stay, and I can recommend it.

I stayed eight days and it felt like home. The woman at the front desk was so kind and helpful, and the hostel was really clean, with bathrooms that never smelled or looked dirty. They provide a towel and blankets for free, and the beach is only a five-minute walk. There's a full kitchen you can use any time, plus free coffee and tea around the clock. Across the road, papaya restaurant has super cheap, delicious food. I loved the place so much that I bought the front desk lady a Chinese lounging pillow.
