The location is brilliant, right in the middle of everything, and the room AC is good. The shower sucks, though, and service was just alright. When I asked for another key card, they looked at me like I had three heads. You only get one card per room, and without it the power shuts off. So you can’t leave your phone charging when you go out, and even the fridge stops working if the card isn’t in the door. Pretty mid, honestly.

Noise was the weakest part, around 8:00 PM to 2:00 AM, and the room is small enough that large luggage won’t leave much space. For a solo traveler packing light, that size works fine. Cleanliness was acceptable, and the staff were very friendly. The place is best for couples or friends who travel light and want to be right in the action. Phi Phi’s center, the beach, a 7-Eleven, pharmacy and lots of restaurants are all close, with the shops and restaurants within 150 meters. The facilities include bedside sockets, slippers, a beach bag, electric kettle and small safe. Very convenient if you’re out exploring, less suited to staying in the room or if you’re sensitive to noise.

The rooms are small, but clean and comfortable, and good value if you just need a simple base while enjoying Phi Phi. We found Jong’s House welcoming, with really friendly and helpful reception staff. They let us store our bags after checkout, so we could keep exploring without worrying about our things. Its spot between the island’s two main beaches makes it easy to walk around, and there are plenty of nearby cafes and restaurants. I’d recommend it for an affordable stay in a handy location.
