The people staying there were nice, but the place itself was awful, tiny, and dirty. I came back on two days in a row and there was nobody to check me in either time. The rooms are dingy, and though I was told this was the island's cheapest place, the guy who eventually showed up to work ripped me off. If money's tight, don't book online. Pay cash, it should be 200 baht. If they ask for more, go to the rock hostel instead, where one night is 200 in cash and it's better.

A few things were missing: there was no hot water, the water smelled a little, and there were no towels, soap, or microwave. Drinking water was available. The nearby bar could be heard, though the noise was mostly acceptable. Still, this was a very nice dorm and PhiPhi's cheapest option, but definitely not the worst. The room was pleasant, the AC ran steadily, and there was no smell, even in wet season. Four bathrooms with toilets was plenty.

The sheets were clean, and the place stayed nice and cool. For the price, it was decent enough. I'd book just one day at first, then ask for a better price in person. People complaining about the bathroom and shower might be expecting a resort-style room. They're clean by local standards. Wastewater smells are common in bathrooms across the island, where treatment is rudimentary at best.

The dorm had working, powerful AC throughout the day, which was welcome in the heat. Beds were okay, and there were plenty of toilets and showers. There's no common area, but that was fine since people spend their time at the beach anyway. I may have been lucky, but everyone sharing the dorm was respectful. It's one of the cheapest dorms on Koh Phi Phi and sits in a prime spot. Finding it can be tricky, though people can usually point you there once you're nearby. It's off the main street, so you get a bit of quiet amid busy Koh Phi Phi.

The people working there are really nice, and they provide free Wi-Fi, water, and coffee, which is a plus. It's right in the center of the island, close to everything. Best hostel in phi phi island. I'd recommend it to other people coming to stay and enjoy.
