The internet barely worked and kept showing coverage errors, so working online here isn't really possible. The location was described as central, but it felt extremely isolated. No boats ran after 6 PM, leaving guests to walk through the jungle in the dark or stay put, which would be especially rough in the rain. We paid almost 150 for three nights, a considerable amount for the area, and left very disappointed. We wouldn't return or recommend it. We had booked the large sea-view room shown in the listing, but were given a very small room. There was no sea view, just construction noise, rubble, and a building site around the property. The room looked nothing like the photos. Its bathroom was more like a storage shed, very small for two people, and flooded every time we showered. Afterward it was unusable. The listing for the ‘Altea’ room showed a spacious room with a double bathroom, but in reality there was only one tiny bathroom.

We chose Long Beach to get a break from the madness of Phi Phi Don while still having the option of partying sometimes, and it gave us a good balance. The location is great, with boat taxis to Tonsai Pier right in front, and you can relax on the beach. The rooms were very clean and good. For the price, it's a good deal. I can't comment on the food because we didn't have breakfast there. This area won't suit everyone. You need to take a boat each time you leave or return to Long Beach, which could get difficult if you're going back and forth a lot. I wouldn't recommend it for kids or elderly parents.

We got great value for our money. The staff were so good, and the location was fantastic, right by a quiet, beautiful beach.

The bungalow was modest but private, with AC, and the price felt reasonable for being right by one of Thailand's best beaches. Staff were very friendly, and I liked having access to the pool next door at the resort, since many nearby hotels don't have one. I stayed at Haadyao Bungalows, which is connected to the Phi Phi Long Resort and Villa. The restaurant at Phi Phi Long Resort was good, and the food prices were reasonable compared with other places along Long Beach. Breakfast could be better, though. They only had instant coffee, and the bread and croissants were just passable. The American breakfast was good. There was major construction at the hotel, so some areas looked run down and the paths were dirty with debris.
