Phi Phi Twin Palms Bungalows

The beach is less than a minute away, and the nearby town center has plenty of street shops and places to eat, so the area stays lively. But the room was cramped, with barely any room to move around the bed, and clutter scattered around made the surroundings feel unclean. The washroom needs an upgrade and better hygiene. Bars nearby played loud music until dawn, so getting proper sleep was nearly impossible. I wouldn’t recommend it if you want comfort or a peaceful stay.

The beach is a quick 30-second walk, but the bar music went on blaring until 4:30AM every night. Our shower didn’t work, there was no TV, the bed had sand in it, and the mattress felt like sleeping on the floor. The reception guy seemed not to care, scrolled on his iPad all day, and laughed when people raised concerns. The online description doesn’t mention the music, and the pictures look nothing like the place. It may work if you’re young and want to party every night. Families with young kids, or anyone who isn’t into partying, should stay elsewhere.

We arrived on December 17, 2025, and were told to wait until the 2 pm checkout, so we went for lunch. When one of my teammates went back to reception, they told him to take all our luggage away because they said we had no booking. I returned after he called me, and then they said they had just found our booking. They gave us only one bungalow room at first because the other was still occupied by guests who hadn’t checked out. We were pushed to either take a low-quality room or find somewhere else, even though we’d paid upfront. We took the poor room, and that evening they said the other guest would stay there that night, leaving us with no alternative. When I asked about compensation, they told me to contact Agoda and said they wouldn’t do anything, even the next day. After I pressed them, they promised we could have the other room the following day. They did move us to the bungalow the next day, but the bathroom was terrible and the sheets and towels weren’t good. The mattress quality was very poor, and when we asked to change the bedding, they kept saying there was nothing they could do. I strongly recommend staying away from this fraudulent hotel. I believe they sell rooms to other parties if they get better rates, then give online bookings poor rooms. I’ll request a refund from Agoda for this awful experience.

The bungalows sit among palm trees and tropical greenery, just a short walk from the shore, so the place has a relaxed island feel. It’s a cozy, welcoming option on Phi Phi Island for a calm beachside stay without premium resort prices. The rooms are clean and simple, with the basic comforts for a pleasant visit. They’re thoughtfully arranged, and many guests appreciate the comfortable beds, private bathrooms, and little outdoor seating spots where you can relax in the sea breeze. It offers a nice middle ground between budget accommodation and the less private feel of a hostel or larger hotel.
