Archie Village House 1 the White Dream

We had a great five nights at Archie’s, staying in 2.2. The location was ideal, with restaurants, bars, and a 7-11 right out front. A scooter made it easy to get almost anywhere on the island, apart from the east side. We liked being able to make coffee and tea in the kitchen, and spent lots of time relaxing on the balcony. There’s also a big table for working. The room was comfortable and spacious. The bed was large and comfortable, though softer than I like, and seemed to be two beds pushed together. We needed an extra mattress because it was a single bed one. I wish there had been a water dispenser. Buying and carrying all those plastic bottles over five days was a lot, especially thinking about the plastic waste. The bathroom could use some renovation, particularly the old shower, which is quite open and leaves the bathroom floor wet.

The room was so clean and cozy, it just felt like home. The team clearly cares, huge thanks to them 🫶 And the location is so convenient. The beach is right there, with cafes and a bar just a couple of minutes away. No need to go far for anything. Honestly, what more could you ask for? I’ll definitely be back 🌊☕️

Archie’s and Ola’s place has a peaceful, secluded feel, even though it’s on the best shore of HinKong with great restaurants nearby. Our apartment was large, clean, nicely decorated, and had everything we needed. The hosts answered all our questions and gave us an adorable present for NYE. Thank you 💕💕

I’ve spent four months here across four stays, and I’m already looking forward to coming back. The hosts are kind, responsive, and ready to help, and the value for money is excellent. High-speed internet made it easy to stay connected. The upper bungalows, numbers 3, 4, and 5, have a breathtaking view across the sea to the neighboring islands. The nearby beach is beautiful, and there are at least four or five restaurants within walking distance. Laundries and a well-stocked 7-11 are close by too, with a large, convenient area to park bikes. The bungalows are in excellent condition and have everything needed for a comfortable stay. Each kitchen is equipped the same and has everything you need. Cleaning is done weekly, and the layout makes it easy to keep the bungalows clean. There’s a hammock at every bungalow, perfect for this island. I’d recommend this place to solo travelers or couples. Families may find the space a little tight, but it’s just right for one or two people.
