The rooms are on the small side, but they're clean. There's lots of food and shops nearby, and the beach is an easy five-minute walk. For the price, it's hard to beat.

After 18 years living in Thailand, I'm not easily impressed, but this is the best location on the island. The manager, an older man, was very friendly. My room was just off the main street, with a lovely balcony and quiet nights since there was no car traffic. The bed was Western style, so it wasn't as hard as Thai-style beds. I stayed one night longer than planned.

The owner was friendly, and the spot is great, right by 7-11 and the beach. The beds are comfortable enough, and it's good value.

Nice place, though the shower area needs maintenance. Don't rent a bike from the guy near this hotel. He tried to scam me for 300 baht.

The room faced the street, but it wasn't noisy. The owner was friendly, and the location on Koh Samet is the best.
