Pony Hill Villa

The pool tiles were coming loose, and the cooking hot plate was the worst I’ve dealt with. We also ended up buying coffee cups, cooking utensils, a toaster and cleaning supplies, which seems like too much to have to provide ourselves for a villa. It says daily cleaning hours, but nobody cleaned the house, so we had to wash the towels several times. Ask before booking whether everything has been fixed.

I’ve been in Thailand nearly two decades and travel a lot, but I’ve never had hospitality like this. The place is lovely, and the villa was spacious and felt like home, with everything we could need. When we needed anything else, even late at night, it arrived right away and with such a pleasant attitude. I was worried the hill would be noticeable, but I barely felt it. I’d been ready to book when they offered me a discount as a kind gesture. I asked if they could reserve a stop for me on the morning of check-in, very early that same day. I hadn’t asked for early access, but they let me into the place as soon as I booked, hours before the official check-in time. It was exactly what I needed that day, though I hadn’t dared ask. They also made sure I got there safely. When I arrived, they surprised me again by saying they’d upgraded me for free to a two-bedroom villa instead of a one-bedroom. Thank you to the owner and staff. This place is special, and I can’t recommend it enough 💞

The rooms were clean and comfortable during our two weeks here, and we loved the stay. What stood out most was the owner, Chaleeya. She helped with everything, even things she didn’t have to, and was understanding and willing to help when our plans changed a lot. We’ll definitely come back. Thanks, Chaleeya, for being such a great host ♥️

It’s my second stay here, and I’ll definitely return. I got a free upgrade to a larger villa, and everything was perfect. The staff are excellent, and I’d give this resort 10/10.
