The Nest Samui

The owners are a lovely, friendly couple, and there’s a small pool here. I found a few restaurants about a five-minute walk away, and Petcherat Marina is close too. The walk can be awkward with wheeled luggage because there isn’t a proper road, so I took a car for 200 baht. It was only a three-minute ride. I just needed somewhere basic for one night before an early flight, and The Nest had everything I needed, including two bottles of drinking water. There are only five rooms on the property.

The owner was really helpful arranging taxis from both the port and the airport. Our room was huge and beautifully clean, with a little pool shared by the rooms and kitchenette facilities. We loved staying here and wished we’d booked more than one night. I’d come back if I’m in Koh Samui again.

Once you get past the tricky dirt road, it feels like you’ve found a different place. The grounds are excellent, the owner is friendly, and everything was immaculately clean. The bedroom was big and the bathroom was perfect. A great spot if you want to stay near the airport.

I like staying at The Nest on Samui when I have a transit day before a flight. It’s about a 10-minute drive from the airport and a three-minute walk from the ferry. The owner and staff are friendly and helpful, and the rooms are comfortable, clean, and to a good standard. The little pool is a nice way to cool off on a hot day. I’ll be back soon.
