Tolani Resort Koh Samui

The beachside setting is beautiful, and it’s such a peaceful, welcoming place. Everyone was smiling and really nice to us. The food was delicious, honestly some of the best I had in Thailand. I’d recommend it if you’re after a quiet, restful stay.

What stayed with me most was how the resort responded when something went wrong. A staff member accidentally damaged an injection containing medication I rely on to save my life. It was upsetting, but the hotel took responsibility right away, arranged for replacement medication to be delivered to another hotel in Bangkok, and sent a heartfelt apology letter. The staff kept checking in and were caring and available throughout. Mistakes happen, and they handled this with real humanity, professionalism, and respect. The resort itself feels private and peaceful, with luxurious villas, personal pools, and a stunning private beach. Breakfast was made to order, fresh, beautifully presented, and prepared just how I wanted it. I’d highly recommend the place for its people as much as its setting. Michelle ka- you are the best!!!

Our Tropical Pool Villa gave us the privacy we really appreciated, especially as hijabis, and we’re still talking about it. The beds were so comfortable, and the villa had everything we needed, from a big hairdryer and toiletries to a beach bag and hat. Everything was impressively clean, with the room, pool, and terrace cleaned every day. Breakfast was delicious, with a medium-sized selection that was plenty for us and all high quality. We didn’t spend much time in the main outdoor pool, since we had our own, but sitting there in the evenings with that open sea view was magical. The reception team was reachable on WhatsApp 24/7, which made things easy. It’s a short ride to Lamai for the night market or Lamai Beach, and renting a scooter makes getting around more flexible. You can arrange one through the resort. From arrival to the spacious rooms and kind, attentive, respectful staff, the whole stay felt welcoming and amazing. Tolani Resort really was a perfect vacation spot.

We spent Christmas Day here on a day pass, using the pool, loungers, and beach area. My mother-in-law also had a Thai massage. The food was very good, and everyone was kind and welcoming. The service exceeded what we expected, and we felt like royalty. Thanks for such a lovely day!
