Us Hostel Samui

The pool and shared spaces were a real highlight, and I thought the food was great. Staff were lovely and helpful, and I’d happily stay again. It was a very laid-back hostel, though not especially social. I made a couple of friends, but most people didn’t mingle much, which may just have been luck of the draw. Rooms are small, beds creak a bit, and there aren’t curtains or much storage. We also lost water for one night, but it was back by morning.

We only meant to stay one night, then extended straight away. It felt welcoming, with friendly staff and plenty of places to hang out, plus quiet corners if you want your own space. We hired a bike through the hostel really easily and ate breakfast there both mornings. Lots of menu choices, and everything we tried was tasty. The food market and walking street are about a 10-minute walk away. Would absolutely recommend! ❤️🙏🏼

I’ve been working remotely here while exploring Samui, and the setup has made it easy to do both. There’s room to work, exercise, unwind, or meet people, and the coworking area is spacious with fast internet. The pool is fantastic and the rooms are comfortable. The guests also help give the place a great feel. Everyone on staff has been kind and quick to help. Bas, the bartender, deserves a special mention for bringing such good energy and making people feel at home. I’ve had an amazing stay and will definitely return.

The pool was a great place to cool off, with comfortable turf and shaded spots. Our private king room cost $48 a night and was basic, but had everything we needed: a good bed, hot water, and nice AC. The cats seem to run the place 😹 There wasn’t really a social program, so don’t count on meeting people. Staff could put in a bit more effort to make the stay more fun. Still, I’d come back.
