Sunny Guesthouse

The biggest problem with our stay was the noise. I could hear my upstairs neighbor pacing all night, and even a dropped tube of sunscreen or a pen came through clearly. Talking was just as bad, every word sounded like they were in our room. I complained, but the hotel only said “OK.” When I asked what they’d do about it, they had no answer and seemed not to care. Their responses to other one-star reviews gave me the same impression, thanking people for the low rating. I’m now trying to get a refund through my travel provider. We paid $100 for a luxury room with a floor-to-ceiling window. Since we were on the first floor, the curtains had to stay drawn, so that feature was more of a curse than a benefit. The room could have been very nice, but the shower and its entrance were extremely narrow. Anyone over 120 kg (265 lbs) would struggle with it. My neighbor’s sleepless night kept me awake too. If zero stars were an option, that’s what I’d give.
