The little pond outside, with its trickling water, makes the place really cute, and the owner was lovely, with amazing English. My vegetable red curry was delicious and packed with veg. Our curries cost around 90-100 baht, though rice costs extra instead of coming with the dish. My partner wasn’t very impressed with his massaman, so that’s why I’m giving four stars.

It’s on a quiet road away from traffic, and the woman who runs the place is kind and speaks good English. She makes everything herself. We had the noodle salad and pad Thai, both fresh and excellent. You can ask for mild, medium, or hot, even with the spicy salads. There’s also a pool table. We’d come back.
The open mic is why I stopped by. It gets going around 5:30, or whenever the regulars arrive, and the crowd that night seemed mostly to be expats who live nearby. The atmosphere was easygoing, and the place itself is cute and comfortable.
Rob and Cynthia were friendly hosts, and it’s a great little bar to play at. They hold an open mic every Sunday from 5:30 to 8 pm.
The owner cooks the food herself, and it’s amazing. There are good vegetarian and vegan options too. I’ve stayed in the upstairs guest room a few times; it feels like a homestay and works well for a night or two. It has a hot shower and a seriously strong fan. Food, drinks, and the room are all very budget friendly. I absolutely love this place.
