Krabi Pitta House

We were supposed to stay three nights, but after the first one we booked another hostel and checked out of Pitta House by 8am. At 2am, a group of men next door kept loudly yelling and banging on something, and I couldn't sleep. We switched to Leisure Hostel down the street and had a great experience there. The listing mentioned a restaurant, an in-room refrigerator, and laundry facilities, but none were available. There was no fridge for the medicine we needed to keep cold, and we had to go elsewhere to do laundry when we arrived. The metal beds squeaked whenever anyone moved, so my whole family tossed and turned on hard mattresses that felt like concrete slabs. There were no sheets, just one small blanket. Windows sat right above the beds and faced bright courtyard lights, making it impossible to darken the room. We also had three lizards in the room during our stay.

The staff worked hard to make us feel at home and were so welcoming and helpful. It’s a nice budget hotel in Krabi, with spacious rooms and comfortable beds. Tea and coffee are available in the morning, though there’s no breakfast. The location is good, close to the night markets and other restaurants.

The bed was sooo comfortable, and the room was cleaned daily. It also had a fridge. The staff were super friendly, arranged a scooter for us straight away, and did our washing and ironing for a very good price. The night market is really close. The balcony's a bit small.

We planned to stay two nights, then liked it enough to extend to five. The room was clean and spacious compared with our other stays in Thailand, and the bathroom and hot water were both good. The AC was awesome. Best of all, the staff were lovely. The front desk always greeted us with a smile and helped us out, and the cleaning ladies also said hello and joked around with us.
