Sweet Home Guesthouse

We booked through Agoda a day ahead, but when we arrived they had no record of the booking and were full. The people were nice, but they didn’t speak enough English to sort it out with Agoda, and there didn’t seem to be a computer at their "front desk", which was a table right on the sidewalk. We had to find another hotel ourselves. Be aware that booking here could lead to complications.

The big family room worked really well for us and the kids. We came as a family and enjoyed staying in the city center near the street food market. It’s also a good base for trips to Tiger Cave Temple or the beaches around Krabi.

There’s plenty nearby: a wet market, night market, weekend market, vogue dept.store, 7-eleven, cafes and a songthaew stop to ao nang. The front desk can arrange tour packages or taxis, and there’s laundry, thai massage and a nail salon on the ground floor. The double bed is spacious and the bathroom matches the photos. A hairdryer and towel are provided, and the shower is handheld, so there’s no need to bring a shower cap. One thing, though, the stairs can feel exhausting after climbing the tiger cave 🐯 😅

Really friendly people, comfortable beds, nice views, and a great location. Highly recommend.
