Ava Beach Pakbara

The owner was kind and friendly, and helped us whenever we needed something. My wife and I felt welcome and had a really good time here. We’ll definitely come back next time.

The rooms were clean and right beside the beach. The staff were so sweet, and the owner went out of her way to make our stay special. Highly recommend this place!

We left within two hours because the chemical smell seemed like a serious health concern. The view was of fishermen with nets, and communicating by translation may help. There were only three rooms, so I don't know how changing rooms would have worked. If you’re looking for somewhere cheap and don’t mind the chemical smell, go ahead. The one good thing was being close to a restaurant, though other hotels are available too.

The bed was the most uncomfortable we’ve ever slept in, with a sharp, dangerous concrete top. The smell was dreadful. We tried three rooms before finding one in the corner with five or six air fresheners, then slept with the window open just to get through the night. The cleaning lady “cleans” by spraying air freshener. We had booked two nights, but left first thing in the morning after the first one. If we could, we wouldn’t have stayed even one night. Really awful experience.
