I liked the wooden hut style during my few days here. Suwannalak Resort is one of many very local B&B homestays in the area, right by the coast, though the beach isn't the usual sun, sand and sea kind. The owner or owners clearly take pride in making this place their own utopia, with lots of attention to going green and recycling.
The place is nice for a one-night stay, but the mattress was awful. It felt like sleeping on the ground, and I couldn't sleep.
A nice place to sleep if you're running late for the ferry.
The volcanic rock cave experience was really fun, and the owner was so kind and friendly throughout our enjoyable stay at Suwanlak Resort. We got great recommendations and excellent service. I'd happily return if I get the chance, and recommend it to friends planning to visit Koh Chang. Thank you! 🎉🌷🎉🌷🙏🙏🙏
I loved the soft red sand beach and the chance to be close to nature. The place is quiet, shady, beautiful, and friendly, with inspiring mottos. Love it!
