Chertam Le Marjestic Hotel Lampang

The room was a letdown after seeing those gorgeous photos. The outside looks lovely, but inside the large 7-foot bed was hard like one in a dorm, and the bathroom felt old. Sound carries right through the room, too, so I kept worrying my child might disturb other guests. I’d hoped for a comfortable, beautiful stay, but came away disappointed. 🥹

We arrived around 5-6 pm in the rain, and ended up moving to another hotel. The room we got didn't look like the website pictures; when I asked, staff said those were just promotional images. The velvet linens bothered us at first, so we asked for a change, but after using the bathroom my boyfriend and I decided this place wasn't right for us. We'd picked it for a relaxing stay based on the description, and were pretty disappointed. This is the first hotel we've left without wanting to come back.

I loved the resort bungalows, especially the reading nook, and the beds were comfortable, just as shown in the pictures. The atmosphere was great and the view was beautiful. I was really impressed!

The room looked promising, and the bathroom was good, but the stay was rough. The bed was hard, there were no face towels or toothbrush, and the power outlets were dented inward. I didn't dare use them in case something pierced through. Noise was the biggest problem: I could hear people talking, things falling, chargers being plugged in, and even the elevator. It carried on until I fell asleep, then woke me up again, so I couldn't rest comfortably. This was a 6th-floor room for 750 baht a night. It's near the university, though not very close to the city. I thought it would be almost good, but it wasn't. If you want peace and quiet, skip it.
