We booked through Agoda, then paid extra after arriving to move upstairs to a room with a view. The stairs are fairly steep, so take your time. Our room had an eclectic charm, a very comfortable bed, and AC that worked well. There's a nice pool, so remember your swimsuits. We picked the hotel for its river proximity and quieter spot away from the town's main area. Covered parking is across the street.

The host made a real effort to help us and recommend local attractions, and the atmosphere was so relaxing. It's a tiny boutique hotel right by the Mekong River. Maybe it rates two stars on paper, but the experience felt like five.

This is an older style family-run hotel that feels special, with a beautiful balcony facing the river in my room. A lovely place for a peaceful holiday by the Mehkong. Enjoy the Kong river view, just don't expect luxury.

The bathroom was poor in every way, and there was a slug in the bathing area. Our room was at the far left end of the building, with a very shaky door that gave me no sense of security or protection from a possible assault. The Aircon was so noisy that I checked out in the middle of the night. I only got more tired trying to sleep in those conditions. Sorry to the owners, but I think the service quality needs to improve.

It's right on the Mekong River, so the sunset is beautiful, and I'd stay here again. The hotel is small, with only a few rooms, and the covered parking across the street was handy. Service was friendly, and the room was better than I expected for a 2 star hotel, with good A/C, a hot shower, and a fridge stocked with drinks if needed. The only downside was that the pool was being cleaned on the day I stayed, so I couldn't use it.
