Na Sook Resort

A quiet village away from the busy tourist hub of Ao Nang, and the budget-friendly prices and good staff made for a pleasant stay of more than five days. They cleaned the room every day. Having a 7 eleven right across from the hotel was handy. It’s near Ao nam mao pier, where you can catch boats to Railay beach or other island tours. Renting a scooter or car would make getting around easier.

The hotel was decent, but my stay was average. The room’s layout felt awkward, with the TV and bed out of alignment, and the bathroom had no handwash. The tiles were extremely slippery and could be unsafe, especially after a shower. There aren’t many food options nearby, so you’ll need to travel a bit to find good places to eat. If you want a lively area with lots of restaurants and cafes, I’d choose a hotel in Ao Nang. This quieter location could work for a short stay, but I’d personally pick Ao Nang next time for convenience.

The area is peaceful, and it’s only about 12 to 15 minutes from the main Ao Nang pier area. We liked staying here. The receptionists were helpful and took initiative to make guests feel respected and comfortable. They even helped arrange a last-minute boat booking during our transfer.

We stayed over Christmas, and the staff left a note and goodie bag at our door. They were attentive, and the room was cleaned every day. Breakfast was simple, just toast and jam, but a thoughtful touch. The place was spotlessly clean, and the location suited us as non-partiers: close to Ao Nang but not on the strip. Highly recommend for a holiday.
