We were in room 3B and had no problems. It had a big bed, a great shower with strong water pressure, air conditioning and a large fridge. You can plug an external into the TV's USB port to watch what you want at night. The owner is very nice and arranges tours and taxis at the cheapest prices. There's DIY laundry next door for 30 baht a load, and around the corner you can rent a 150cc scooter for 300 baht a day, which is a much better way to get around town. We also ate at patong hotel, good prices and great food. Awesome hostel, highly recommended!

The staff were lovely at this nice hostel in the old town.

They kept trying to move us into more expensive rooms and didn't seem to care about us. A man might be put in a room with six women, or a woman with six men. It felt impolite.

The owner is a really nice guy, and the rooms are fairly clean and spacious, with comfortable beds. My friend's bed was very noisy, though, so check its condition first. Otherwise, good value for the price.
