A nice, safe, comfortable hostel at a cheap price. It's conveniently close to a shopping mall, stores, the market, bars, and Patong beach.

The staff are wonderful and do their best to help you feel at home. It's a casual, friendly place near the beach, with nice rooms and Thai food served there.

Good places to eat are nearby, and Thai massage is cheaper on this side. The location is very good, and Carol, the host, is really nice and gave us useful tips. You can rent a bike or book tours there. Our room wasn't clean and the sheets hadn't been changed, but Carol got us fresh ones that night when we asked. The Wi-Fi was weak at times.

For a budget stay, it's good value. The rooms are very clean, and the staff are helpful and can speak English. There's room to improve the place, but you can rent a bike right from the hotel to explore the city, and the bikes are in excellent condition.

The room had air conditioning, a hot shower, and even a fridge. The bed was extremely firm, but I slept fine despite worrying about that. Good value, and you can rent a scooter from them for 200 baht a day. There isn't a lift, just stairs. I really liked the location. It's a short walk to Bangla and even closer to the night market, where there are some great bars.
